Conditions

Welcome to Grooms by Azzurra. By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

 

1. Appointments & Booking

1.1 Booking Requirements

  • All grooming appointments must be booked in advance.

  • Online booking confirmations will be sent via email or SMS.

  • New clients may be asked to complete an intake form for safety and accuracy.

1.2 Arrival & Late Policy

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.

  • A late arrival of more than 10 minutes may result in:

    • A shortened service, or

    • Rescheduling (full or partial fees may apply).

1.3 Cancellations & No-Shows

  • We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to part or all of the scheduled service.

 

2. Pet Health & Safety

2.1 Pet Requirements

For the safety of all pets and staff:

  • Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations recommended by your veterinarian.

  • Pets must be free of contagious illnesses, parasites, or aggressive behaviour.

  • If your pet is experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, or visible irritation, we may decline service.

2.2 Behaviour & Handling

  • We groom one-on-one, but some pets may still become fearful or reactive.

  • If a pet displays unsafe behaviour (biting, extreme stress, aggression), we may:

    • Modify the service,

    • Pause the groom, or

    • End the appointment for safety.
      Full payment may still apply for time spent.

2.3 Senior Pets & Pets With Medical Conditions

We take extra care with elderly pets or those with health concerns. However:

  • Grooms by Azzurra is not responsible for underlying medical conditions that appear or worsen during or after grooming.

  • Owners assume all risk when requesting grooming for pets with known medical issues.

 

3. Grooming Services

3.1 Service Outcomes

  • Grooming results vary based on coat condition, behaviour, and the pet’s comfort level.

  • Dematting, severe coat neglect, or unsafe conditions may require:

    • Additional fees,

    • A shave-down for the pet’s wellbeing,

    • Adjusted styling.

3.2 Fleas & Parasites

  • If fleas or parasites are discovered during your appointment, a flea bath fee may be applied, or the groom may be stopped depending on severity.

  • You may be advised to seek veterinary care before rebooking.

3.3 Skin Treatments & Add-Ons

  • Treatments such as Nagayu CO₂, hydrating masks, or specialty shampoos provide supportive care but are not a substitute for veterinary treatment.

  • Results may vary based on coat and skin condition.

 

4. Payments & Pricing

4.1 Pricing Structure

  • Prices are based on breed, size, coat condition, and behaviour.

  • Final pricing may vary if additional time, handling, or products are required.

4.2 Payment Requirements

  • Payment is due at the time of service.

  • We accept cash, credit, debit, and approved digital payments.

4.3 Retail Sales

  • All retail items (shampoo, colognes, accessories, etc.) are final sale unless defective.

 

5. Photos & Media

5.1 Social Media Policy

We love showcasing your pets!

  • By using our services, you consent to your pet’s photo being used for social media, marketing, or website content.

  • If you do not want your pet photographed, please inform us at drop-off.

 

6. Liability

6.1 General Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure safety:

  • Grooms by Azzurra is not responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, pre-existing conditions, or health complications that may occur during or after grooming.

  • Owners assume all risk related to grooming services.

6.2 Matting Waiver

  • Matted coats increase the risk of cuts, irritation, hematomas, or uneven appearance.

  • A signed release may be required before proceeding.

 

7. Website & Online Store Use

7.1 Content Ownership

All content on this website (text, images, branding, graphics) is the property of Grooms by Azzurra and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

7.2 Accuracy of Information

We aim to keep pricing and service information up-to-date, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to update information without notice.

 

8. Changes to Terms

Grooms by Azzurra may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of all current terms.
