DOES MY DOG GET PUT IN A CRATE?

Dogs who are friendly with each other are free to roam around the salon in an enclosed area and make new friends, socialize and play with toys.

Although Grooms by Azzurra has crates in the salon we don't crate pets unless necessary. If your dog often uses the bathroom in the salon or has dog aggression issues they may be placed in a crate to prevent injury and maintain a clean salon. If you wish to not have these specific case dogs in a crate while they wait for you they can be done as an express service.

Express service: ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Meaning your dog is completed from start to finish without any stops/ Interruptions. The owner gets called prior to the pet being finished so they can arrive exactly at the time of the groom being finished.

HOW LONG DOES EACH GROOM TAKE?

Groom times are based on the size of dog, their temperament and their specific coat needs. Upon drop off we would be happy to give you a rough estimate of how long the service will take. Here at Grooms by Azzurra we pride ourselves on making sure each pet leaves happy and feeling better than before! We all work 1-to- 1 so your pet has our full attention when they are in our care.

DO YOU GROOM ALL DOGS AND CATS?

Yes! Here at Grooms by Azzurra we groom all dogs and cats! We are also able to provide mini services for other small animals like Rabbits!

WHAT IF MY PET DOESN'T LIKE GROOMING?

Grooms by Azzurra works with pets who are seniors, anxious pets or who have challenging temperaments. The whole Grooms by Azzurra team works to create a safe and positive experience for all pets. 

 HOW SOON CAN I GET MY NEW PUPPY GROOMED?

We always say the sooner the better! We recommend bringing your new puppy in as soon as they've had their second round of vaccines (arounds 3 months old). Your puppy's first visit isn't typically a full groom but a bath and tidy up. Doing a bath and tidy before your puppy's first groom Is a perfect way to introduce them to the grooming process before they come In for a full service. When your puppy comes in for their first bath at Grooms By Azzurra we do the bath, blow dry, brushing, nail trim, paw pad and sanitary shave, trim around eyes (if needed) and ear cleaning. We will also show you ways to get your puppy acclimated to the grooming process. We also give your puppy an adorable report card with bonding activities for you and your puppy to practice.
